Killing is a very brutal thing to do. But killing murderers in order to gain justice does not make the offense lesser and with exemption.

Dexter Morgan is the protagonist of both the book and the show, Dexter, a television drama series which airs on Showtime every Sunday, 9:00 in the evening. Dexter moonlights himself as a serial killer, but works as a forensic bloodstain pattern analyst for the Miami Metro Police Department. His being a serial killer makes him a literary anti-hero in the TV program.

During Dexter’s childhood, Dexter’s adopted father, Harry, suspected him of being a psychopath after he noticed that Dexter killed their neighbors’ pets. Talking pleasure from it, Dexter’s killing is patterned and based on an elaborate code of ethics and procedures taught to him during his childhood by his adopted father. He called this code of ethics as “The Code of Harry” that centers on two major points: one is that Dexter can only kill other murderers and he should execute his crimes so as to never get caught.

On the previous episode of Dexter with the title “In the Beginning”, Debra was able to name two suspects and Dexter came across a possible ally. Meanwhile, Miami Metro was able to uncover more evidences in their ongoing investigations. The next episode of Dexter, Episode 11 with the title “Hop a Freighter”, will be aired on Showtime on December 5. In this upcoming episode, Damage control will become Dexter’s latest personal assignment, while Deb’s speculation will continue to grow. In the meantime, a murder case will be tied to Quinn. Mercy is not a considered in this story, for he believes that killers don’t need mercy. Dexter takes pleasure in killing his victims, murderers themselves, and as time goes by, he becomes addicted and even wants to hunt more victims.
