Medical doctors play an important role in maintaining and restoring human health through the study, diagnosis, and treatment of a certain disease or injury. Basically, most physicians deal with infectious diseases rather than injuries. An infectious disease is said to be an illness resulting from the presence of pathogenic microbial agents such as viruses, bacteria, fungi, multicellular parasites and the like.
The TV show “House M.D.”, most commonly known as House, which broadcasts on FOX on Monday nights, 8:00 PM, is an innovative medical drama that follows the life of an anti-social, pain killer addict, witty and arrogant medical doctor Gregory House with only half a muscle in his right leg. Dr. House and his team of medical doctors try to cure very ill ordinary people in the United States.
Dr. Gregory House (Hugh Laurie) is a brilliant diagnostician who loves solving medical issues in order to save lives. He handles to solve most inexplicable cases that other physicians cannot understand. However, Dr. House is not working alone in this quest. His team includes neurologist Dr. Eric Foreman (Omar Epps), a neurologist who has a disturbed youth and a desire to keep away from becoming as harsh as House; an immunologist Dr. Allison Cameron (Jennifer Morrison) who cares too much and has conflicting feelings with House; and Dr. Robert Chase (Jesse Spencer), a specialist in the intensive care who has lived a very privileged life.
On Episode 8 of the TV series House, ‘Small Sacrifices’, a patient was admitted to Princeton Plainsboro after reenacting the Crucifixion. On the other hand, while House and the team attended a wedding, Wilson’s relationship with Sam unexpectedly changed, and Taub questioned his wife’s relationship with a member of her infidelity support group.
